Happy Fathers Day!! I know this is a little late! Honey wanted me to write something encouraging for the Father's and soon to be Father's! We've been praying about it so here it is!
I guess the only connection to musician's corner is that I've written many times in various ways my shortcomings in my song lyrics. I know when we we're married I wanted to be the best Husband and Father in the world!! One of the best things we can give to our children is to love our wife!! I still want to be the best but I learned fast I can't do anything on my own strength!! I am to LOVE, Protect, Provide, Respect, Honor, Teach, Guide and be a Leader in my home as I follow Jesus!! The problem was for ten years of marriage I wasn't following Jesus!! I knew about all these things. I wanted to do all these things but lets face it without Christ we can do nothing!!! With Christ we can do all things!!! I'm going to give some scripture references and pray you take the time to read, pray, and meditate on them!! There is a great war taking place against the family!! Families being destroyed by the enemies influence on our homes!! As Honey puts it, "she meets mommies and babies every day who are devastated and without hope as there lusting husbands look for something outside of God and outside of there home to satisfy them!!" Let's take up the full armor of God Eph. 6 and fight for OUR FAMILIES!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!! LET"S PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER AND FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!!!
